Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have been married for 15 years and have two children together. Recently, there was a lot of talk about a possible reconciliation between the two stars of “Moneyball” and “The Pursuit of Happyness”.
Jada Pinkett Smith Discusses Will Smith’s Marriage
Jada Pinkett Smith made a statement on her husband Will Smith’s behalf on Chris Rock’s new talk show. Smith and Rock have been feuding since November 2014 when Rock referred to Smith as a “wife beater” during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Smith revealed in an interview with E! News that she is hopeful that the two will reconcile and that their families are still very close. “I just hope for the best,” she said. “We’re so close and we love each other so much.”
The 43-year-old actress also said that she is not concerned about how their feud will affect her children Jaden, 13, Willow, 11, and Trey, 9. “I know my kids love their dad and they know he loves them,” she said. “And they know that people make mistakes.”
Jada Pinkett Smith Hopes for a Resolution
Jada Pinkett Smith hopes that Will Smith and Chris Rock will reconcile. The two have had a history of public feuding, most notably in 2006 when Rock made a controversial joke about Smith’s son Jaden at the MTV Video Music Awards. Says Smith: “I hope that they can get their act together because I think it would be really great for the industry.”
Jada Pinkett Smith Wants to Help Heal the Rift Between Will and Chris Rock
Jada Pinkett Smith is hoping to help heal the rift between Will Smith and Chris Rock. The actress took to her Instagram account on Thursday, August 24, to share a post in which she implores the two stars to reconcile.
“If there’s one thing I know it’s that love is the answer,” Jada wrote. “Will and Chris – please forgive each other. You both have so much to offer the world and your children need you both in their lives.”
The post comes after reports emerged earlier this month that the two former friends had been feuding backstage at a film premiere. According to E! News, Chris was said to have approached Will about his wife Jada’s alleged mistreatment of their children, leading to an heated exchange between the pair.
Since then, both stars have attempted to put an end to the drama by releasing statements expressing their remorse for their actions. However, it seems as though things haven’t improved much since then.
Jada’s plea might be enough to get the two actors back together for their children’s sake. But whether or not they actually listen remains to be seen.
Jada Pinkett Smith Responds to Rumors of a Breakup

However, in a statement released to E! News on Wednesday (September 27th), Smith’s wife clarified that the rumors are simply not true.
“There is no truth to the rumors of a breakup between Will and myself,” Pinkett Smith said. “We are still together and very happy. We have put our differences behind us and are enjoying working on new projects together.”

In an interview with The Associated Press published on Tuesday, the actress said she still hopes for the best for the two men. “I want them both to be happy and I want them to be able to find peace,” she said. “I think that’s really important.”
Smith and Rock have been estranged since November of last year when Smith publicly accused Rock of making racist remarks during an interview with BET. Smith claims that Rock called her a “black bitch” and an “ape” while they were filming the movie “Grown Ups 2.”
Since their falling out, Smith has made several public appearances supporting her husband, but she also told AP that she wants both men to reconcile for the sake of their children. “My kids are big enough now that if it does happen, they can handle it,” she said.
Jada Pinkett Smith Plans to Visit Both Stars in Future
Smith and Rock have been publicly feuding for years now. In September, Smith accused Rock of calling him a “white boy” at a charity event. And in February, Rock made a series of disparaging remarks about Smith on Instagram. But Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith says she still hopes the two will reconcile.
“I want them to reconcile because they are two really talented guys,” she tells E! News. “I think it would be great for their children and their fans.”
Smith has two children with his ex-wife Willa Ford, while Rock has five children from three different marriages.
